do a falconry course first. its a hard bird to keep if your new. try a harris or red tail for first bird

hahahaha best video ever, i like the bit where he decides to give hare a run for its money and tries to chase it down....then realizes its away and veers off after bird. Brilliant comedy runnin, please put another couple vids up.

the falconer looked like he held the bird back momentarily on the fist maybe giving the big bunnt the edge. nice vid, well done

Muim...., i appreciate u arent a fan of the art of falconry but birds of prey are not domesticated. They are always essentially wild and as such always retain their hunting instincts. Just as a rabbit/hare/deer is born so(like you and i), it must also die and such is nature, red in tooth and claw. That hare might have been nailed by any other predator that day, which also has to kill to survive (and maybe to feed its young).

yes it did, more then once, i had a try last week with my male gos as wel, on this same hare. He did bind 2 times, but got kicked off.
