I edited this clip of the Middle Passage so that it is appropriate for a public school classroom, although I would stil warn my students that the images are graphic and disturbing.

The atrocities of mankind aren't limited to one race or ethnicity; they happen all over the world and in many cultures. This clip was horrific to watch, but the shame and horror is that it happened, and many people allowed it to happen. It's a part of history that should not be forgotten in order to prevent it from happening again. People should remember; we should all work together for freedom and equality. Underneath, we are all the same: we live, we breathe, we cry, we scream, we bleed.

its too bad the uploader didnt warn the students that amistad is pure jewish fiction.Thats right,the director of the film is jewish,hollywood is jewish,and every film they make on slavery is invaribly slanted to demonize "white christians".In reality,it was jews who dominated the trans-atlantic slave trade.The jews also purposely play up the white abuse of the slaves to heap even more guilt on white viewers.

@MsRighttoprivacy That's what is said - but nothing is done today, but move far from "the hood" and " Those People" as you can so that your children can get a good education and living conditions. And teach your children that they are superior to the former slaves. "Who cares about those former Africans? NO ONE. NOT EVEN THEM. "they happen all over the world and in many cultures.." True, but this is specific.. Very Specific and Unique Crime Against Humanity.
