KlingonBlue™ adheres to the feet of cows after a single passage through the solution and remains noticeable on their feet a day later. The product is specially well-adhered to digital dermatitis lesions. Digital Dermatitis causes 53.9% of lameness in cows; causes 61.8% of lameness in bred heifers; is also known as hairy-heel warts or infectious lameness.
Preparation of Klingon Blue™
Pour 45L of water into a 200L drum with half its lid removed. Insert the lance of a power washer and start the washer. For best results use a rotary nozzle high pressure power washer. Slowly add 1 bag (22.7Kg) of KlingonBlue™ while continuing to agitate the water with the power washer. Fill the Drum to 200L while continuing to agitate the water with the power washer.
Normal usage:
Klingon Blue™ only needs to be used once every 2 weeks for 2-3 milking's. Re-use solution until the level of Klingon Blue™ in the foot bath drops below the level of infection on the hoof.
Severe infection:
Use Klingon Blue™ on a weekly basis for 2-3 milking's until the infection rate is under control. Usually this will encompass 2-3 weeks. If solution becomes severely polluted with organic matter, please discard. Klingon Blue™ is not as impacted by organic load as other disinfectants used to control Strawberry Foot Rot.
