  • @undeadsinner13 Before you start sayin shit like that like a pussy, do some research. They attacked pearl harbor and killed innocent people and soldiers out of NOWHERE. And we WARNED Japan FIVE consecutive times about this, and they basically said whatever give it your best shot. And the hell we did. We have nuclear weapons nowadays that make this shit look like a firecracker.

  • @N9Nz well they bombed the hell out of pearl harbor......what do u expect

We have to stop thinking we have no power. People need to work with organizations and work in governments and follow their conscience and work towards those means they want to achieve, keeping in mind rationality and tact.

  • @bariguy87 But what can we do? we are nothing to these Governments that hold the fate of Mankind in their hands. Yes I still have Hope, but what can Hope guarantee me? If only I could do something about it.

  • @Matak12

I think most people in the world wish the same thing. But I still stand by their one time use as a necessary evil.

I stand by the facts of invading Japan and continuing the war for another year would have led to possibly millions more dead on both sides.

Japan was run by a whacky Military Government that had insanity running it, the only way to stop them was to use that horrible weapon. It wasn't just a vain egotistical move by the US.

  • @Matak12

If Iran were to drop a nuclear weapon on Israel then the consequences are going to be very destructive. We're not exactly sure of how it would play out. We are not sure if Russia or China might use military force on Israel in return or if the US would get involved or not. North Korea, would get world opinion unanimously posed against it if it used a nuke on South Korea or Japan.

  • @Matak12

Uh yes, I don't live under a rock. But I dont surrender myself to hopelessness. Sure a nuclear exchange is possible, but I'm not going to be a defeatist sissy and say its going to happen we live in a horrible world. The World has never been perfect, but in many ways the world is a lot better. Yes there are many things that are wrong that werent wrong before, but we cannot just give up.

  • @bariguy87 I just wish that no Atom bomb ever existed, which would mean no nuclear bombs today

  • @bariguy87 Have you seen what's going on in Iran? The Us and Isreal want Iran to quit it's Nuclear programme, in fear that it's developing a Nuclear weapon, If they dont quit, invasion is Inevitable. One of the main reasons for the Invasion on Iraq was to secure weapons of mass destruction. Also the world has there eyes on North Korea, If one of these countrys or a rouge group were to use a Nuclear weapon on a country, how would a country react back? sorry im going way off subject lol

  • @Matak12

I'm not making out the US to be the perfect country, or the best country in the world, I dont believe in playing favorites. What I dont believe in, is minimizing the good countries do in the world and in history. And believe me, without the United States, Germany would have won.

  • @Matak12

Further, as horrible as the atom bomb was, you act all negative and doom and gloom. If the world was that lost, believe me a nuclear war would have already happened. It was because of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that the US and the Soviets were reluctant to actually use the bomb. Nobody knew what that bomb would actually do. It wasn't an experiment to show the world or intimidate Russia. It was to end World War Two plain and simple.

  • @Matak12

Peaceful eh? Tell that to the Maori. That fact about Russia is true, but it would have been harder for Russia to win if the US wasn't sending it supplies for their war effort. You tell me how many people would have died invading Japan. No to mention, the division of Japan between a Soviet occupation and Allied occupation. Believe me, the atom bomb was the better of two evils by far.
