when do people understand that diablo 1 is NOT about hundreds of more items and monsters. ever heard of less is more. that is what diablo 1 is all about. It´s about only one thing FEAR.

I was scared and looking forward at the same time to going deeper and deeper into underground. That's the magic of this game and music's fantastic. It is legendary game. Same as fallout, red alert 1, dune 2, sid meier's civilization, warcraft, duke 3d, half-life. Did I forget something? This all will be part of my childhood forever.

gawd when i entered lvl 16 i heared that song and it was like ".... allright... lets... do that :/.... naaah i think i have to go to town again first. you want to be prepared well..." damn i was so scared of diablo...

The beginning is like the "welcome to Hell" portion of the song. You know you're getting closer and the fights are becoming much tougher.

The drumming part makes me remember fondly of the black knights and Warlord of Blood coming to slaughter me.

And the last minute is that sudden realization that you're about to come face-to-face with the Devil himself. Will it be this staircase? Or the next? It was ominous, mysterious, and twisted.
