  • Excellent response video. I like bower birds and New Caledonian Crows as good examples of animal intelligence. Mostly because they are non-mammals which shows that intelligence is not confined to mammals. You could also use social insects as an alternative to intelligence where we see complex behaviors growing food, herding animals and keeping slaves for example without intelligence.

  • Yea I agree, intelligence is relative. We may not be able to understand the "intelligence" of birds very well, nonetheless it exists, for sure. Birds have demonstrated that they know how to interact with their environment in a beneficial way - they "understand" certain things. It's quite amazing, actually. Thanks for commenting!

  • I disagree that humans' body hair depends on climate. Look at Aboriginal peoples across the Americas (extreme cold to hot) - barely any body hair if any. You mentioned Russians; I can't agree with that either. Many Russians are almost hairfree.

My theory: diet throughout the centuries. The higher the glycemic index, the more insulin secreted, the more free testosterone (DHT), independent of sex. Follicles are sensitive to DHT. It gets more complex, but this is my own proud theory. Any thoughts?

  • I haven't heard that theory before, sounds very interesting. Perhaps you're right, I really couldn't say. I'm certainly no expert on the matter. I just try to keep up with science, and a lot of this is just speculation. But that definitely sounds like something sensible. Thanks for the interesting comments! :)

  • @xx13moons Great video...always good to see someone learning more about the world they live in. I dont agree with your theory regarding hair/fur. I reckon it might have something to do with the use of animal skin for insulation in early humans. Also the diet theory preposed by chocolatepoundcake is a good theory too. My question regarding human evolution is why the need for the bigger brain? i mean we were surviving fine with smaller brains in that environment hundreds of thousand years ago

  • I have a single fur like hair that comes out of my forehead over my eyebrow a good 3 cm over it.. and it never stops growing I keep having to pluck it out but i don't want to kill it cause its a curiosity when it comes back lol but I've had that on my thigh before .. they have absolutely no colour at all and are nearly invisible like those Normally tiny hairs under the guard hairs-that have pigment unlike the under hairs which are clear and extremely fine.. this one hair is extremely fine too.

  • @chocolatepoundcake

Dry heat vs. wet heat could be the cause. Arabs are comfortable wearing long white robes because desert heat is not humid. Perhaps their body hair provides shade or protection for the skin. On the other hand, excessive body hair is uncomfortable in a wet heat, or humid climate, such as where I live in Florida. So that may explain the Native Americans.

  • I checked your channel and I still stand by my verdict. don't expect a reply anymore, I am a man.

  • genius? ahahahaha. my face is on youtube, genius. why dont you bother to look it up yourself.

  • By your attitude, I bet you are a very unattractive woman, whose values is so superficial and singular, you have no reason to be watching this genius man's video.

  • how the hell would you know whether i have a degree or not? you're a jerk calling someone you don't even know a prick. and i'm not a prick anyway cuz i'm female. kiss my butt.

  • I'm deleting your comment because you're a lying prick. You do not have a degree in Zoology, stop lying. If you did, you surely would've provided better explanations for the nonsense you believe in. Also, you said "learn about god," what god? and why? And why should you suppose that I haven't spent a good amount of time "learning about god?" I did attend a major Seminary for quite some time actually, trying to get my M. DIV. It was there that I saw through the delusions of theology.
