An inside view of my bungalow at Malog Bungalows in the village of Peskarus on the island of Uliveo. Peskarus is quite a large village of about 700 people. Mine was a fairly new bungalow though another was completed during my visit. Situated on the edge of the mangroves, at low tide, pigs and small children frolic in the mud, at high tide, canoes bob on the water. Strips of pandanus hang in bunches from trees, drying in the wind. They will be woven into mats and baskets. Views of the unfinished new restaurant, the outside table where I ate most meals, giant empty clam shells and the old three-roomed guesthouse with Masel in the doorway. Giant clam shells are used as sinks.
Glad u enjoyed it. I've just returned from my 2nd visit there. Kalo has built another few bungalows and finished the restaurant. His phone number has changed to +678 5428 434.

Thank you for this video! I'm going to Uliveo next year; it was really great seeing footage from the Maskelynes.
