@hammerman641 I like your answer ;) And as you have said before, there are only few such bands that vocalist can acctually sing well, Bands with bad singer usually split-up soon.....

@Anze491992 Well I disagree that it's happy music but that's my opinion. No need to get that upset about it. Not as much into doom/death, although I do like a little bit of Swallow the Sun. Don't like My Dying Bride or most of the other ones. Funeral Doom I like Tyranny and Ahab, also Shape of Despair and Until Death Overtakes me. Nortt is good too, but that's more like black metal. My point is that I don't feel like there are enough doom metal bands out there with clean vocals, which I prefer

@hammerman641 Ok ... then name me one good doom/death and funeral doom metal band. Both genres are mostly using growles and both sounds very depressive... not like standard Doom metal (this band and for exemple Candlemass) that acctually play happy-sounding music... (I am not saying that this band is not good, it is just a matter of mood I am in, but don't deny growling :D )

@Anze491992 Lol, stuff I don't know? I like Death metal bands, I just prefer doom bands with clean vocals. I'm allowed to express my own opinion. Kudos to you if your prefer death/doom, but not me.

@hammerman641 Death/doom metal bands would be silly with clean vocals. You should better not comment stuff you don't know. -.- Death/doom metal has much more depressive atmosphere than Spiritus Mortis, which I consider as a happy band!

@hammerman641 Well I agree that Doom should stay with clean vocals but, as a fan of Genres like Thrash and Death metal, growling vocals do take alot of talent.

This is some proper Doom Metal....up there with early BLACK SABBATH, WITCHFINDER GENERAL, CANDLEMASS, CATHEDERAL and ELECTRIC WIZARD; and it features the mighty Sir Albert Witchfinder on vocals! Can't get much better than this...Highest Hails to thee!

damn heavy, doom metal at it's finest. It's a shame that too many doom bands these days are either ultra sludgy and silly, or death/doom without a talented singer (just a growler). I thought Candlemass and Solitude Aeturnus were the only two bands this awesome until I found these guys.
