A wild storm on the 28th January 2010 ripped through the small town of Belford, a few kilometres west of Branxton in the Hunter valley, NSW. Damage suggested winds up to 150km/h from a microburst, and hail was in the vicinity of 5-6cm. Very heavy rainfall also fell causing flash flooding. Here is footage from the core, which caused my car to get covered in hail dents. Excuse the poor language at the end, but I guess you can understand why :)
Nice, my sort of storm chasing !

yes that hail starts sounding quite serious at about 3:40 - how bad were the dents, are we talking you can see them easily from a distance or only up close/in the right light?

cool video.
Intense corepunch there. It sounds like you weren't expecting the larger hail.
