I failed to mention Neanderthal mtDNA and ERVs but I wanted to keep it in the 10 minutes range.

Evidence for evolution :

  • @pmolter Actually I don't think you do. I fail grad students all the time. Just because they are taking the class doesn't necessarily mean they know what they are talking about. I'm kind of thinking you fit into this category.....

  • @pmolter Actually cant be bothered explaining it all, take a class in genetics!!! As for junk DNA, once again what point are you trying to make? What you are referring to as 'junk' DNA is actually the section of DNA between all the genes, known as the untranslated regions. These are not necessarily junk regions (this idea is far outdated), and can contain essential noncoding regions such as gene promoters.... blah blah blah, whats the use.. another creationist with he's ears closed

  • @pmolter Dude you obviously have no idea what you are talking about! They have always known that DNA replication takes place in the nucleus. Or are you trying to talk about DNA transcription? Either way, they both occur in the nucleus. Not sure what point you are trying to make....? You seem to think that genes are separate entities and only the ones that are being used are in the center of the nucleus, while the remainder stay at the edge. This is not the case at all.

  • @authorsclee In all reality getting the evolution biologist (Richard Dawkins) to admit that evolution is still not 100% conclusive is like getting a Mormon not to vote for Mitt Romney and trying to ask a body builder not to flex at "Muscle Beach." Lets face it Richard Dawkins might be a brilliant man but there is very little in his books that is that new or innovative, his books are very wordy and he tries to show off his brain power and consequently he is a bore.

  • But you need parents to do it!!!

  • @authorsclee Richard Dawkins claims to be an atheist but is clearly an agnostic. Every college professor I have clearly states evolution is a controversial subject and when asked about this subject they all state although the evidence points to evolution it is far from being 100% conclusive. The observable model of biology only explains how life is today, but there are only suggestions of evolution. The best evidence of evolution from a single cell is to a complex life form is pregnancy.

  • @pmolter As for this part .... just stop fact mining.
