What is the guy wearing the sunglasses doing at 22.00 min of this great Delmar Benjamin and his Gee Bee R-2 video? Are his glasses just a little bit too dark and too cool to see that his R-2 is masquerading as a Gee Bee "Z"? Glad to see it "go in".!

I'm still trying to figure out why any kit or ARF manufacturer would waste all of thier resourses kitting a YELLOW AND BLACK R-1 or R-2? JUST make the kit a "Z" model and be happy! Lowell Bales would rest easier if you had just gotten his legacy correct. Leave it to the Chinese and other misinformed clowns to flood the R/C market with the cheap crap, and if I ever see a Red and White Gee Bee "Z' at the flying field I will PERSONALLY walk up to it and STOMP the %@#$ out of it!

@klmelj This is NOT a kit! Delmar built the R2 alongside a museum replica because the Granville Brothers relatives did not want him to make a flyer from the plans, but would allow a museum replica. He built it with Steve Wolf over two years from photos and measurements and made it into one of the most incredible aircraft you'd ever see fly. And in NO WAY is this a plane for amateurs.

Den Einschlag der R2 von Andreas Ruppert hab ich in Michelstadt gesehen und auch gefilmt. Nach einer so genialen Vorführung war das leider kein schöner Abschluss.
