@MegaObserver1 Wait.. what? I've never heard this.

@scottvska Yeah, Jay Leno.

so sad

Also, Gene's 2 teenage daughters were bridesmaids at Roger's wedding in 1992. Roger was a pallbearer at Gene's funeral in 1999. So don't believe it when they say they weren't friends.

Siskel was a brilliant critic

According to what I've read, the two became close personally, in the mid-80's when they moved their show from Tribune Entertainment to Disney. The Chicago Tribune threatened to fire Siskel, and Ebert told Gene that he'd gladly be the co-critic at the Sun Times with Siskel. Siskel was truly touched by Roger's willingness to give up newspaper space for him. The Trib retracted their threat.

WTF is this? Jay Leno has the worst show in the history of television. Seriously wtf did I just watch? And it ended with some fat broad and polka

this is classic. thanks for archiving this stuff! if anyone can locate the episode they appeared on Howard Stern's old E! show where Howard made Roger got on a scale to weigh him in because Rog was lying about a weight loss, that would be amazing! i have the audio, but the visual i'm sure would be even more hilarious
That David Schwimmer is goin' places.
