hey man is that the X1a ? telstra version ? im using Xperia with WinMo 6.1 with HTC TouchFLO 3D but do u recon if I put WinMo 6.5 in it that the phone will run much faster ? (but I really want Touch FLO 3D with win mobile 6.5 lol)

No, I imported an X1i, but I think this should work for either. If your after a faster running phone, not sure you will notice much difference. The startup is slower in my opinion, and I don't notice to much difference in responsiveness from 6.1. Bear in mind though 6.5 is still in BETA, so the final product may be different. You should be able to use Toch Flo 3D with 6.5 though... i think I may have even seen a ROM floating around that had that exact configuration, but I could be wrong.

Nice video! So you've upgraded to 6.5 but are you sure you don't need to update the latest firmware as well? I think a ROM upgrade/change is different from a firmware update... unless of course SE included them both into an all-in-one package :)

Not quite sure what you mean. The OS is always bundles with the firmware is it not? Thats why you get a blank system everytime you use the SEUS to upgrade. Its all the same thing. In order to do this you also need to flash your phone with the custom ROM. So you essentially can think of this as a custom R3A Firmware that uses the WM6.5 OS instead of 6.1. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though. I'm a developer but this isn't my area of expertise.
