1964 Ford Taunus transit FK 1000 close ups !!

This guy restored this old firetruck and converted it back into a normal van , look at all the details , as if it was came out of the factory yesterday.

Anybody know how to shift gear in these cars?

@shashelasse 99% of all cars from those years are manuel , so you get used to that , its like shifting gears in a Citroen 2cv , the shifter has to be pushed in and out of the dash , but after a few mistakes you'll learn .

@dutchurbanminer i like it manual, but i did not fully understand the part where you explained how to shift gars in it...

in regular cars i recall it being something like this:

1 3 R

@shashelasse Thats also possible , but some old cars or trucks have it the other way around and reverse can be tricky to find , left or right , pushing or puling.
