This is one of the few new settings by OCP that I actually l like. Traditional and easy to sing. Might use this for Easter.

This mass setting sounds so beautiful! The soprano section was amazing! Altos, tenors and basses were amazing also. It makes me cry.

We're using this setting at Saint Peter's Cathedral in Scranton PA and the congregation has responded very well to it, and our choir does it justice.

Beautiful and I feel as though even in an ordinary parish the mass parts in unison with the organ would be solemn and beautiful.

Nice, but seems almost too slow.

even with the organ, i would use reed stops for the gloria. and the congregation in my parish can sing the unison parts. so its not that hard. this isnt entertaining. its solemn and grand. for the rest, i find that only the organ is enough

We are learning this one, and it is a lot simpler than it sounds.

Nice, simple singable tunes but dignified and well constructed!

Beautiful, but don't ask untrained voices in the pews to do more than listen quite passively. Like many of the ultra-contemporary settings, extremely entertaining, but from a different point of view. Yes, both solemn and joyful, but not practical in an ordinary parish. I find the horns somewhat obnoxious and predictable, unfortunately.
This one is pretty good. It has a solemn joyful feel. Probably best sung in a Cathedral or by a big choir. What do you think?
