Is there a differance between the cha-cha and the cha-cha-cha? Also many years ago (50's/60's) there was a dance that was called the whip(I think) It went toe then heal then 3 (small)back steps(the women did all the fancy stuff).Yet I don't see it on any of your tapes (it was required for bronze(I think 10 different steps in 6 major and some minor dances)

Thought of 2 songs. Compare Brooks and Dunn Neon Moon (Rock Step Cha Cha Cha, Rock Step Cha Cha Cha) not 50's per se but a similar sound. and some 1950's sounds have the more modern beat value, go figure..

afaik "Whip" is like "Texas Push" and West Coast Swing. (Wouldn't hurt to research Shag as well)
So a "Slotted" swing dance, I believe.
Got a lot of web coding and Tango Videos to deal with tonight, so this is off the top of my head.
I'll get my facts straight and put something on DanceHamptonRoads when I get a chance.
Thanks for the questions 092847 :)
