@bluec0caine Karl left Chloe in the 90's. Stella McCartney replaced him and there's been about 4 designers since she left to focus on her own label.

I think karl should put more detail into his sketches for couture. Some of them look like scribbles so how can the atelier know exactly what details of embriodery e.c he wants?
When i sketch i put as much detail as i can onto the page.

No. Not anymore, he left it quite a while ago.

@videocrack246 is he still designing for Chloe also?
Ignorant people fail to understand that designing clothes is not just sketching and receiving paychecks, there is so much more than that. In addition, when you stop and think for a minute that Karl Lagerfeld designs 6 collections a year for Chanel alone INCLUDING 2 COUTURE, plus around 4 collections for Fendi and 2 for the KarlLagerfeld brand, that makes around 12 collections each year of roughly 45 pieces each, which imply EXTRAORDINARY amounts of effort and time. Its is a SHITLOAD of work.

@zimalien but you also have to realize for them, its not hard work. they have been doing this for decades. it would be harder for them to sit at a round table and mentally create a trend than to physically create trendy garments.
