  • Paul Wylie was then, now, and probably forever will be one of my favorite skaters of all-time. His artistry and musical interpretation on ice is unmatched! Thank you so much for posting this video!

(I won't even comment on the judge from Czechoslovakia.............yes I will - she's an idiot.)

  • For the love of skating coaches everywhere, please teach your skaters how to end a program!!! I mean, if you want to earn those extra 'brownie' points and get the crowd off their feet, then please, PLEASE teach your skaters how to do three Russian split jumps in a row and then end it on a properly executed scratch spin--like Paul does here. I mean, even if you have to make a mistake here and there, nothing says 'I'm in this' like a scratch spin!!! Thanks for the post!!!

  • Oh my God, Scott Hamilton, shut up! I'm trying to watch a program here!

  • A note to the Czechoslovakian judge "Your an Idiot"! Paul Skated his heart out and was certainly robbed of the Gold Medal that he truly deserved!

  • Remember this moment fondly.

  • Paul was robbed. Petrenko correctly won the short program but he should not have been placed higher than fourth in the long. Wylie should have won the gold.

  • paul should have got the gold

  • im meeting paul todaay im so excited :) im also meeting bill fauver. im so xcited.!!

  • im meeting paul wylie today! he is the most amazing skater ever. he is my coaches coach for figure skating and i am so exited that i can barly breathe to meet him.

  • With the usual world split, Im afraid even he did complete the 2nd trip lutz and perform a cleaner 2nd triple axel, the gold would still have gone to Petrenko
