shadowbane may not have ranked high on the charts but its the best
PVP game ever and if they didnt take so damn long to release it and if they actually released it working properly it would have done much much better. There is still a strong following for the sb emulator come join in and find Sinner to whoop yo asses!

This game was never #1 or even #10, which is fine since it was a niche game, but let's not kid ourselves. Shadowbane launched with 50k subs and was down to half that inside of a year. It was laggy, tough on the eyes, and more cliquish than anything else on the market at the time. Had Eve been as ugly and as neglected it would have eaten dirt too. It's true WoW is going tits up, but the whole MMO form will to suffer because of that. It won't be good for anybody except maybe Bioware.

@buckethackers yes its a matter of time before it dies, if blizz is smart they will make it free, or will fall cause of the next expansion

this game was #1 befor WoW what do u think it shutdown it ha a 5 yr life span and wow is dieing it went down 2 million subscribers.

On july 1st the shadowbane servers has shut down once and for all... though some players (not sure about this) got the codes or some shit and is developing it back up again on their own... google Shadowbane Emulator.

Its pretty much primarily focused on PvP. You can level relativley fast to get to the mass PvP but the game is one of the hardest mmo's to grasp though. You will need a lot of help on your first time in the game.
