Fleury in my opinion would have been what the Flames needed and at just the right time and I think 4 goals in 4 games showed that but the reason for not taking him, his age and conditioning. Well his age I don't think was a factor, his conditioning would have improved as the season progressed. He would have added fire and energy they are missing, he would have motivated Iginla and mad Calgary a playoff threat for a couple years. But they don't take him and see how they're doing. THEY SUCK!
nice, shootout tips from a defenseman. you're basically saying do the same move for whatever goalie you're playing against. do you not realize if you do that, when you play the goalie again, he'll know exactly what you're going to do? stick to pickin gum off the bench bud haha
@boomer1981abc thanks for the fail opinion. Depending on your style, that may or may not work. Full steam and sticking to a move based on how the goalie plays is a better bet. Nice try though.
maybe you don't watch much hockey but the key to shootouts is to throw the goalie off. one way to do that is to change speeds. you don't just skate full speed into the net, you aren't being chased by any defenders you have all the time in the world.
@avalanchesuperstar 1.5 was way over his value and 30 points would have been the absolute maximum in points for him, even watch his skating here, lack of speed but nice salute anyhow
I love this MoMENT. Everyone loves Theo!!!!
