No dangerous fragments? Hence why you put it inside a tree.. Nice one :p

@zakamooza Mixture of Acetone Peroxide and Ammonium Nitrate.

what is AP/AN plz reply
-
Yes AP is mixed with AN to make it more sensetive? ;p

@Mapzulu1996 Acetone Peroxide. Very sensitive high explosive.

so its risky...either it might go with a detonator or a fuse...well what did u use?

On this one we used a electric igniter, thats why we can count down to detonation. When you use a burning fuse, you never know exactly when it will go off.

Should the APAN be packed? And also What kind of container do you use? plastic tupperware, metal pipe, or pvc pipe?
Thanks.

The APAN should be packed to get the best detonation. You should use a container that doesn´t produce dangerous fragments, so metal or glass is out of the question. I normally use a container of thick paper.

Yes AP is mixed with AN to make it more sensetive. AP is flamesensetive, so a fuse or a electric igniter will sett it off. You need a powerful high explosive to detonate ANFO, so flash, which is a low wxplosive, will not do the job. Please read more about AP before you make it, or ask more questions. Thanks for watching the video!

what is oxygen balanced apan? is it just apan that is mixed 12/88 ratio? and this ratio is by weight? correct? nice explosion =)

OB APAN is when the reaction equation is balanced with oxygene. It doesn't need oxygene from the air, and it doesn't produse more oxygene than it uses. APAN is OB when aprox. 12% AP and 88% AN is mixed by weight.
