Talking heads were more new wave. I'd say the Pixies. But yeah, I can see that comparison. And for me, I actually like Pink Floyd (not as much as radiohead) but they are not my favorite band. I'm more of, Jeff Buckley, David Bowie, Radiohead (obviously), the Strokes, The Jam, Joy Division, New Order, Talking Head, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Black Keys, The Smiths, The Clash, The Replacements . . . etc, type of guy.

@aijunk2 I find it funny that everyone in Radiohead hates Pink Floyd, but they're constantly compared to them. If anything I'd say they're todays Talking Heads.

Yeah, radiohead may not be the most popular band, but they are one of the most respected bands out there. There sound is never sellout, and they actually do it for the music, not the money. Radiohead is today's Pink Floyd mixed in with some Can and Beatles-Except the Beatles were popular, very popular. Radiohead, may be some what popular, but they have talent that is still growing, and that is a fuck load of talent!

I love Jadiohead, but the original "Moment of Clarity" song is better, the beat is a little more intense and emotional.
