i agree that institutional religion is a root of much evil in history of mankind...and that it was used as an instrument of control and manipulation.

but its hipocritical not to mention how much evil in the last century rooted from the dialectical materialism.. massmurderers like hitler, stalin,mao...etc justified their doing based on darwinism.

@FreiwilligFrei Then why did Hitler ban Darwins books? Hitler seen himself as a catholic but was more like a cult/ocult mentality (the whole aryan thing). Any evidence that Stalin and Mao justified their doing on Darwins theory of evolution (or had anything to do with Darwin)? The therm darwinism use creationists. There was social darwinism but it was trying to apply theory of evolution on politics and society witch was nonsense. Theory of evolution is just describing a process in nature.

there are letters from marx to engels where he is daying explicitly, that darwinism is the needed basis for their theory of communism.

chen duxiu ( a big believer in darwinism) thought mao about communism and darwinism.

mao says (paraphrase): the base of the chinese communisms is darwins evolution theory.

@FreiwilligFrei the problem is that they did not understood the theory (maybe they understood it) and bastardized it (social darwinism) - it had fitted them in their ideologies. Its like the new agers trying to use therms like quantum theory that has nothing to do with their crap. Darwins theory of evolution just describes a natural process (just like theory of gravity describes how gravity works). Read something about Lysenkoism. It uses an idea of Lamarcks theory which is opposed to Darwins.

You cant just take things from a theory that describes a natural process, twist it and apply it on politics, economics and the whole society. It is a naturalistic fallacy.

no it had nothing 2 do with the person darwin, rather his theory.
