Deep Creek Ranch

David and Fran Strawn inherited the land six years ago, and though David spent most of his life as a lawyer, farming has been in their family for generations. The Strawns helped their daughter, Trisha Strawn, transition from a paralegal to a livestock manager by helping her go back to college.

Deep Creek Ranch, located in De Leon Springs, provides Registered Angus and South Poll cattle and hair sheep as breeding stock and for food.

They are not certified organic, but they use organic methods wherever feasible. They do not broadcast herbicides or pesticides, add hormones or routinely administer antibiotics to the animals.
