Libera - New Dawn - Love and Mercy

As during the live performance at the kennedy center honors some sound engineer seems to have messed up this wonderful song by Brian Wilson here´s a chance to listen to the really beautiful studio version from the album "New Dawn".
For the video I just added up some random Pics from the Libera-Fanpage, so that´s no piece of art - but the sound really is ;-).

Breaking voice? No, I disagree for it was still a long time (over a year) from this recording to the recording of "you were there", which was still featuring the soloist Tom Cully with a perfect soprano voice.

I actually wonder, what´s up with Tom´s voice, when he starts to sing at 0:21.

Sounds as if he was close to tears. He had the same problem at the life performance. Suggestions?

Their voices blend so perfectly together, it sounds like angels are serenading us from heaven. Their music videos and songs really touch hearts all over the world; like Sanctus II based on Pachelbel's Canon and Orinoco Flow. These talented boys are no less the best choir in the world. ^^ (And it doesn't hurt that they're all cute, as well~)

Of the former soloists, i miss Tom Cully and Michael Horncastle the most! I loved their batch! The most recent one is great too though i.e., Ralph, Stephan, Cassius. Thanks Libera for continuously bringing great joy and inspiration!

@splankytube Tom's voice sounds quite shaky because it was breaking...he was having to sing through the break and that is no easy task. His voice will go back to being pure (albeit not as high) once it has finished breaking.

To those who know the sound of libera, they are more than the boy band they aspire to be. If anything, their cool factor comes from their stunning ability to transplant us to an ethereal realm - a place of hope and beauty - and leave us each a better man.

I love Sam's part in this song...it is still a solo even if he sings it while the ensemble is singing. You can hear him clearly over everyone else. I love this song as well, it's one of my absolute favorites...so peaceful and harmonized.
