Song for Princess Maxima

This song is based on Eternal Flame, written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly with lyrics by Susannah Hoffs. The lyrics were changed into a mildly mocking celebration of the visit that Princess Maxima Zorreguieta and Crown Prince Willem Alexander of Orange were to pay to the Dutch city of Eindhoven on 4 September 2001. The Dutch lyrics were written by Gert-Jan Schouwenaar, with additional words by Pascal Verlinden and Martin Kooistra. All lead vocals were done by Martin Kooistra with additional vox by Pascal Verlinden. All were working at Radio Decibel at the time and this song was played regularly in the weeks leading up to the Royal Visit to Eindhoven.
