upon resigning you posted an engine's response to save the game and achieve a perpetual, my question is why not accept the loss of d6
at 8:27 the move i don't think many people considered was simply exchanging queens with Qc3+ and then recapturing with the knight....
i can see this being bad for black because even though he is a pawn up the white pieces seem better placed (upon confirmation with the computer yes white is better). BUT my engine sais it is still black who is up after Rd1 with Nc3

Your Dragon series has been great..........I'm going to play it at my next tournament.

Why doesn't black leave castling for later (and play normal development and trade knight vs bishop at c4)and put h5 to stop pawn storm and then guard his black bishop so it can't be exchanged. Then you can castle when u need the extra rook to attack!
Can you lead us through a game where white plays g4 after the rook sac on c3?

hmmm it's not easy to find a good game with this idea. It might take a while...

This is at about 2.40 in the video:
After black played Qa5, attacking the c3 pawn, what was wrong with Qd2, defending it?
And after Kb1, why didn't Black immediately cature with Qxc3?

Good questions.
1. There is nothing wrong with Qd2, but also then black continues to increase the pressure against c3 with Rc8.
2. After Kb1 it is playable to capture on c3 immediately. In the game Mestel chose to increase the pressure and activate one more piece with Rc8.
