Washington - Baltimore Blizzard of Feb 2010 winter snow storm

The Mid-Atlantic region was hit with a huge winter snow storm / blizzard on Feb 5 and 6, 2010. Staring late on Feb 5, by 11 AM on Feb 6, Germantown, MD already had 27 inches on the ground - another 14 inches were added the rest of the day.

A 2nd storm and a blizzard with 45 MPH winds and "thunder snow" hit on Tuesday Feb 9, adding another 10 inches in heavy winds.

We drove around out to take a look around between 11 AM and 1 PM on Feb 6. Here are pictures from that drive.
