In some certain Hook shot areas, enemies give a fixed rate of exp compared to the regular enemies that give you reduced exp once you're overleveled.

Sunny's Last Word is guaranteed stun, which is actually not so useless (I can see why it would be bad elsewise). Not sure if it works on bosses, something to try out! People have also said she's good at increasing her Light affinity.
Fazioli Meditation is actually a stronger RES buff then Komachi's. Also, according to a blog, multi-target and single-target buffs are different and STACK, other then the ones for magic attack for some reason. Interesting!

The open chests in the area you were in are from the beginning of the game. If you happened to miss any of them, you could pick them up there. The healing point is there because the enemies in that area give fixed exp, making it a viable training spot.
