Part 4- Seat comfort is one of the top priorities for drivers. The seat is the only part of the vehicle that drivers repeatedly and most frequently come in contact with, thats why Ford designed Seat Comfort DNA. Ford DigiKnows host Mike Collins talks to person who puts the science of seat comfort to work - Mike Kolitch, Seat Systems Engineer. Ford's Vehicle Integration Manager Larry Kummer joins them as they take questions from a Ustream.Tv audience. This is the taping from the March 17, 2009 Ford DigiKnows episode.

  • It looks like the head rest on the US version is angled forward more sharply than the Euro seat. My wife sat in a Focus two years ago with a sharply angled head rest and couldn't get comfortable because of that. We were looking foward to the Fiesta and hope it doesn't have the same issue.

  • Lol, let me guess, is that you Golf strom?

  • Dearborn The Euro spec seat is a very good design and you can tell just by looking that the US redesign is less supportive and will be more tiring on longer drives.

If I can't get the Euro spec seat it will deter me from buying the Fiesta.

Ford needs to offer the customer the choice of the US spec seat or the Euro seat at little or no extra cost.

Most people in the US that have sat in or driven the Fiesta one of the most outstanding features were the seats. Not Broke? Don't fix it Ford
