There has been a great deal of speculation about Will Smith's frelationship to the controversial organization, "Scientology."

Smith and his wife Jada are close friends with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Recently, Smith created a private school that is based, in-part, on the teachings on of Scientology's founder, L. Ron Hubbard.

There is also substantial evidence that Scientology does not approve of homosexuals or african americans.

Rather than address any of these topics directly, the following was the only mention of education or "spirituality" in the interview.

You missed an opportunity to ask about an important issue in the interest of doing a puff interview.

If Scientology really does believe that homosexuality is a disease that can be cured through "technology" that involves science fiction storytelling, wouldn't you like to know?



Will:
You seem like an intelligent guy. It sounds like you care about knowledge and education. It sounds like you read widely (including the internet).

Although you may think that your new school is open-minded by embracing various "good" elements of many perspectives, it in fact legitimizes a dangerious cult. LRH "tech" only is imping true learning methods, watering them down in the interest of preparing students for Scientology's ways of thinking.

P.S. The most holy site in Judaism is the land on which the muslims built the dome of the rock. Jews are not aloud to enter the dome to pray so they are forced to pray to it's western wall. The Wailing Wall as it's known. The holiest site in Judaism.

Whether it's Islam, Christianity or Scientology, religion is a scourge on this planet and we've far outgrown the need for imaginary friends.
