Brenda was an unpleasant and odious young woman who literally got away with murder. Bugliosi had her pegged from the get - go and if he had more support would have put her away along with the others. Thank god for Bugliosi or there would have been a lot more murders. He's my hero.

She is supposed to have advised on the upcoming Manson Girls film, the one that was going to have Lindsay Lohan, who was going to play Nancy! But I think she has dropped out now, shame. She was mixed up in some Aryan Brotherhood murders in 1972 and her son, Eric Monfort, has just been sent to jail for armed robbery. An interesting character....

Social commentary aside, this is a great song. Nancy Pitman may have made some mistakes in her past (havent we all), but I respect The Shangs for perfectly nailing the time and place and subject!
