MTV is hypocrite too. MJ basically made MTV what it is today and they just kept mocking him when he was alive. Look what happened during 2001 and 2002. So stupid. They just don't show enough respect. Why don't they do this when he was alive. The whole industry didn't support him. That's why he always felt so lonely and died so so early.

MTV doesn't even have the guts to admit what they did. They said it's the misunderstanding of MJ. C'MON! We all knew MJ was Jehovah's witness. Even he quited years ago but he never got used to celebrate his birthday. How come he would promise MTV to showed up in the award show if it's for his birthday? and MTV later even said they did give him the mellenium award. Weird right? It's a set up for MJ from MTV. They are really pathetic. Now he died, they did this tribute? this disgust me.

@PoKEMoNBoYBoY Actually it's in 2002. MTV asked him to show up in the award show said they wanted to present him Artist of the Millenium award. However, in the showed it turned out to be Britney present him a birthday cake and celabrated his birthday. MJ didn't know and gave a thanking speech. The next day all the media said how ridiculous he was and who the hell he think he was. The next year they asked Jack Black to act the scene again to laugh MJ.
