It was rigged, but you can't deny an untrained person is highly likely to miss and in most situations there would be bystanders behind the shooter who could get hurt. Just because the cops suck doesn't mean the civilian rules.

But I'll admit, this is the closest you've had me to convinced so far.

Quite the catch .22 The most qualified instructors, I've met, will only share their knowledge if they, themselves, can benefit. And, students will never advance, or more importantly unlearn bad habits, without proper training. So, my bottom-line is this: don't fear education as though it's some communist plot to rule the world....

Great rebuttel mp5man, the arrogance of the anti-gun, anti-self defence crowd can be easily seen here when they think they can just put out these dumbass, blatently floored 'experiments' and expect people to buy it. What they are saying here is "if your a civilian, regaurdless of any training or experence you may have, you are a danger to yourself and anyone who is not enguaging in a criminal act, but if you put on a police or military uniform you magicly become a superhero who can do no wrong".

@mp5man Yeah, you mentioned classes are available, but they can't just be 'available'. if someones going to carry a firearm in public, and be free to take it out if they feel a situation calls for it, they should be required to have education in skill with the weapon, and be taught what qualifies as 'appropriate' and 'responsible' use. It is true that we don't need a bunch of trigger happy Ranbos looking to be a hero and creating a situation.
