Only Eric could make you laugh simply by wiggling his glasses or eating potato chips! "Comedy" today is nothing more than some pillock on a rant with every other word being the F-word.

It's amazing how they could make you laugh without cursing.I remember growing up in the 70s and on channel 9 Benny Hill would come on at 7:30pm and Morcambe and Wise would come on.That's when I fell in love with English comedy.Seems like all the good comedies came out of England from the 60s to the end of the 80s.I thought when cable tv came out we would see more British comedies.What a shame we never saw many after that.PBS shows once in a while when they hit us up for donations.

And this was a time when product placement was part of the act not actual advertising. If Golden Wonder were to be on TV now it would cost em an arm and a leg.

What has happened to comedy? todays comedians are nothing compared to these two. i'm 14 and was introduced to the likes of morecambe and wise, The Two Ronnies, Ken Dodd, then i was probably about 8. I Love them. They are brilliant and they are actually funny, unlike todays comedy
