If the injuries result from a motor vehicle accident, their auto policy's PIP or Personal Injury Protection coverage will pay the cost of those medications. If it's not an auto accident, group health insurance will pay those costs. And if there's no group health insurance, it may be the only alternative is a letter of protection.
