Question: "what kind of car do you drive?"
Answer: "Well... it's not so much a car, as it is a snarling, landspeed record-breaking nightmare."

My first car was an SS 454 Chevelle that I bought in '82' for $1k. The folks I bought it from used it to tow a boat to the river and that was it. The only thing I would up replacing on it was the 400 tranny and mods were a custom ground hydraulic cam with anti pump up lifters and carb. Those were good times and just seeing an hearing you car brings : ' ) to my eye.

sounds great, do you feel proud of your car with all theses people saying it sounds great...i would like to know what you have under your hood?
whats the size on your cam?
what type do you have?
whats the RPM on your turbine?

@publicroyalty760 More appreciative vs proud with the positive feedback for our project. Helps to solidify we have something that not only makes us happy but others can share in its awesome design as well.
The cam is a hydraulic roller with big roller rockers. Don't recall the brand now but the most important approach, imho, is using a shop with an engine dyno. Their 'results' experience is critical in making the right choices. We will typically shift at 7200 RPM.

That's really loud! I love it! but is that too loud to be street legal? someone please let me know and give me some knowledge on that kinda thing. Thanks!!

@exoticlown Exhaust noise is really on a city by city level as each city will adopt specific noise level restrictions. We've been lucky in Texas not to have any LEO's pull us over regarding the exhaust loudness.
