  • I rolled my zip lock sponge bags up and used a small hole punch to make holes in a couple of rows - one its unrolled it has holes all the way down then I don't have to worry as much if a clean sponge goes in a bit wet - it will dry with all the air circulation

  • @droifur Great idea - running to get my hole punch now :)

  • How much do u charge for partys, based on what? i was asked to do a party and didnt know how much to charge them

  • @hanadikabbani1 I have a whole video on this. Check out "Q & A: Deciding Your Rates." It should answer any questions you have about how much to charge.

  • Hi Lisa where do you purchase your Sponges from

  • @BrittnyDS I can't remember the store off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure I mentioned where I got them on my "Face Painting Products I Love and Hate" video, so you might want to check that out :)

  • Hi Lisa, I am learning so much from your videos. Thank you! I put my sponges in a lingerie bags and throw them in the washing machine. Then I let them air dry, works for me.

    Bon Bon

  • Hi Lisa, I watched most of your videos and love them all. I found something to clean the sponges and not sure you have already tried. Is a hand soap from "the Masters" it is suppose to clean grease paint etc from the hands. It is incredible on the the brushes too. i bought it in Micheals. as you said in this video you have ever been able to clean your sponges i thought you might be interested.

  • Great tips!! Thanks;)

  • At events we have to have a cup with water, a cup with soap and water and a cup with disenfectant and after each child we have to clean each brush in each substance. I know tiedious right..but it is manditory so we do it...lol I do like the wipe idea for shape thanks!!! Pluse for the rainbow cakes too! Thanks lisa, oh and I use a back pack for my supplies because If I want to carry a chair and table my arms are free.

  • Hi, for sponges I use a lingerie bag for my sponges, I put the whole bag in the washer when I get home with laundery soap and bleach to disenfect, hot water too. Sometimes I air dry sometimes I put in dryer but they all get cleaned at the same time :) I learnrd this from Lis Mortlock she is great!! Pluse here in Alberta we are not alloud to use the same brush or sponge on diffrent children unless we clean them between children. Health and saftey is very strict here. At events we have to clean..

  • Your videos have really been helpful! =] Im trying to learn to do my daughters birthday and future birthdays for my nieces and nephews
