So lovely!
-
You would just have to dance to this one - great recording.....
-
Those original 1925 Cotton Clubs are rare.
-
Almost all the "Rounders" are Harry Reser. There were a few exceptions. "Imperial"(UK) used it for some American bands on their label.

Fred, are the Rounders the Harry Reser band all the time? I wondered about this on the recordings that I have. I knew that was his banjo playing on the Rounder records I have.

This has got to be one of my favorite versions of this song. I love the dramatic interlude at 1:27. I love the heavy down-beat this pressing has.

How did Henry Hall get in the photos? He was still at Gleneagles Hotel , (before Rio Rita), and his later work with the BBC dance Band......nice version of Rio Rita though!

Lou, the guy holding the chihuaha doggie --is Xavier Cougat - a famous Latin band leader from the 50ies whom Charo was married to for a long time.
