How to attach gear to a MOLLE vest

Another "I've been meaning to do this for a while" show, and a quickie for you all. Last year at LL, one player (who will remain anonymous for their protection) asked me to "fix" his MOLLE vest because the gear was way too loose. After that, I've been meaning to have a quick video talking about MOLLE gear, and the proper way to attach it to a vest, belt, or other MOLLE platform. So, here you go.

Nothing too special, just a quickie.

When you wash a MOLLE vest after a game, do you remove the parts or just throw the whole thing in the washer?

@WickstarRunner hand wash, drip dry. Takes longer, but lasts longer too.

How do you attach knives and things? Like a Kabar with glass filled nylon sheath? Or machette in a fabric sheath? Thanks a lot

I ran my AR15 mag pouches like this about 6 months ago at a tactical training class and my marine instructor asked me who the F setup the vest like that. I was like I did and he was like umm ok...

Weaving the mag pouches like this makes them so tight that it's very difficult to get the mags out with your left hand for fast reloads. Not to mention near impossible to ever get them back in when freshly reloaded. Weaving them loosely also isn't good either. What to do...

the problem I have with most of my molle gear is that the straps are the tough cordura material that don't weave very well. And pistol holsters seem to have crappy placement with their webbing and dont sit tight :(
