This song was recorded at the end of a session in Nashville ten years ago. It's the first take with a few overdubs by Johnny Neel and Kenny Malone. As a result of this song, we were invited to play at Rainbow Farm for HempAid 2000, and then Roach Roast 2000. Rainbow Farm was a GREAT place. The emphasis on marijuana instead of alcohol made for a MUCH DIFFERENT kind of FEEL, and it was magical. There is no other word for it, and anyone who was ever there will tell you the same.
Tom Crosslin was a smart and successful promoter, a GREAT guy and he was making waves in Michigan politics. For the FBI to have shot this man is unbelievable if you know the REAL TRUTH. No one ever less deserved to be shot. Clyde Barrow- no question. Tom Crosslin was NOT A CRIMINAL. Only in the myopic eyes of American law. Either was Rollie Rohm. Justice has not been done here.

  • Hey Thor, Great to hear from you. Give me a call sometime! Congrats on the Jack Herer gig. Hemp and its relatives are some of the most important issues of our time. Keep up the GOOD fight! (We MISS you here in the REAL south!) TW

  • @werelooking Amen! I too volunteered alot! Just finished "Burning Rainbow Farm" by Dean Kuipers. Brought back alot of great memories...and then there's the last 2 chapters that made me bawl for hours after finishing it. Still weepy and finished it this morning. Great times at the farm. Would like to find Doug. Try to get a memorial gathering going. The 10 yr anniversary is coming up quick.
