The fastest growing segment of professing Christianity today is the Word-Faith Movement, also known as the Positive Confession or simply "Faith" movement.

Its growth is at least partially due to the massive amounts of money the leaders are able to extract from the faithful.

I seriously don't understand how they can consider this worship? Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not a cessationist. I believe in the gifts of the spirit. But I believe that they should be used as Paul describes; to build up the Church and bring praise. I don't see how laughing and rolling around like you're wasted at a kegger does ANYthing to spread the love of Christ OR build up the church.

@kenny1324 Agreed. The Holy Spirit comes into the world to bring a conviction of sin. Last time I checked, that conviction comes with tears and repentance.

Beware of false teachings Prophets. This is the work of the evil one. Guys like Rick Warren and Joel Olsteen are part of this movement. Beware!

We now have an idea of the sound of demons laughing. The bigger, saddest implication being: lack of discernment. How can you have the Spirit of God within you, and believe THIS NONSENSE is of Him? The Spirit of Truth, bears witness of the Truth. This compels me to study the Word all the more, that I not be overtaken by lying spirits. Thank you for caring enough to warn God's people.
