Now heres a little story that I gots to tell
about a student center you know so well
It started way back in twenty 02
Pat Brown, Allen Josey, and some prints that were blue
Cuz we had a library with a lot of books
some unique architects gave it crazy looks
and in 1969 everything went fine, they took the texts out and what did they find?
A building for a student center left behind.
Then they hired some cooks to work in the Commons
give it up for the Round Room for making sandwiches bombin!

But we needed something better for our needs more filling
the idea was up move it out of Billings!
As the plans came together then the money got tight
we raised a lot of funds but it still wasnt right
Groovy UV needed help, cmon someone save us
and then we got a call from the family Davis
They wanted to help, they wanted to feel cuddly
there was but one condition: always call the building Dudley
Now Dudley Hale Davis was not just some guy
as a matter of fact hes a 43 alumni
He worked real hard so we can play
in the student center were in today
So I dropped the first verse with some history
But I didnt get a chance to really spit about me
My name is J-Master Flash and I work on the crew
Production and tech and heres how we do
Weve got tables and chairs up in the ball rooms
Bumpin bass in the place Brennans boom boom boom
Set up speakers for speakers and the BOT

We work the early morning, afternoon, late nite!

He worked super hard founding Merchants Bank
after him this buildings named and its pretty dank
So I showed up today wearing my crew shirt
its fresh and it clean which means its without dirt

We got FM and Kate, theyre our marketing team
Making posters and signs to keep our building green
Dan Dulude and custodial clean the toilets

Kim recently took over the production crew
Now we wear green polos that started out blue
In the office a face I see again and again

Capn Sage likes to rage with his audio skillz
Admiral Dirk works operations to pay the billz
Kyle Warren runs the dock and calls strikes and balls
hes got a real nice poster on the basement wall

While Im graduating soon Ill be here all summer
