Soo Line 1003 and WSOR 4503 Rail Fan Special

Soo Line 1003 and Wisconsin Southern SD40-2 4053 lead a rail Fan special train.

1003 Started life out as a Broadway Limited Blue Line Undecorated Mikado. I was very disappointed with the sound that Blue Line installs in their locomotives so I had it replaced with a Tsunami decoder. Mark's Rail Services did all the work on this locomotive includeing the decoder install. It needed a lot of work to get it close to the real thing.

Wisconsin Southern 4053 is an Athearn RTR SD40-2 with a Tsunami decoder installed by South Side Trains. 98% of my roster is now purchased from South Side Trains the other 2% is from ebay, such as custom painted rolling stock and locomotives or discontinued items.

The box cars are all RTR Athearn freight cars except for the MR&T passenger car made by Rapido.
