not in agreement with how you went thru process before departure of initializing and then selecting a departure, along with Runway from JFK, which pasted an "initial routing' to fly, but then, still on the ramp,  you moved ahead of things by, closing your discontinuity "too soon" you should have flown what was pasted on your MFD first, then, in the air, you can close the Discontinuity, after FLY HDG SEL portion was flown, then go DIR TO, next waypoint?? why did you instruct otherwise?

If that's what it says then fly it. I just wanted to connect JFK to the next way point. I'm not teaching how to fly a departure.

what are the diference between v1 and v2?

v1 is the speed at which you can't stop anymore if you have a problem, you have to takeoff if you pass it.

v2 is the guaranteed speed at which the airplane will get off the ground.

i need help, ive been flying this plane for a while and everything worked but now the data base will not initialize even after i confermed everything. i would wait for ten minutes and nothing would happen. can you please halp me, is it a bug or what? thanks

@bushwoodful Oh, no prob. my post was only to 'point out' something i saw,  and noticed as an Anomaly. i would have had no way to know, that you just wanted to skip your departure that you fetched from the Box, wipe that, by closing the Discontinuity" .... Opposite the way it would be in the real world) that's all.............no Harm then. carry on! :)
