there is something to this certain episode design which I kind of hate or find it gross. More like I was afraid of it because it gave me a kind of ancient and bloody feel. and throughout the entire episode, the ambience remained.
proved something, the level designers put in many efforts to do it and I can call it a work of art.

Yes that's right dude! In Quad We Trust! whenever I play quake, which is always on nm mode now, when I'm on this level, it's QUAD DAMAGE almost all the time, no wait, it's QUAD DAMAGE + ROCKET LAUNCHER!!!

Cool demo-- but do you have a version with the original background music? (It's the same as in the House of Chthon level, E1M7.) It was probably the eeriest music throughout Quake 1, amid a bevy of scary soundtracks, and it added enormously to the atmosphere.

I haven't listen to original CD music in YEARS, from any game. Music that's streamed from the tracks that is.
