I absolutely LOVE this scene and have always been so glad the ending of this flick was written this way. It is so true to Costner's character to play the hole this way. So glad the screenwriter had the balls (pun intended) to put such a memorable ending to the film. The broadcaster who mutters 'Get over' to the shot while it's in the air . . . he understands what the shot is all about. And so do I.
