Intrepid and Lindsey Anderson scored 59.171 and took 3rd place in the Brentina Cup -- Young Rider Grand Prix Test at the 2008 Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions held at the Oaks Blenheim in San Juan Capistrano, California on Saturday June 28th, 2008.

Lindsey Anderson
Hometown: Roy, WA

Horse: Intrepid (18-year-old 16.1 hand Dutch Warmblood gelding; Owned by Lindsey Anderson)

Born and raised in a town one hour south from Seattle, Lindsey Anderson-O'Keefe was raised to love animals, family and dressage. Lindsey is the youngest of four daughters and grew up on a farm fitting in name, Four Sisters Farm. Lindsey started riding dressage at nine years old on a 16'3 hand retired equitation horse. She achieved her USDF Bronze Medal by eleven, and then moved on to a special mount, "Tigris", a 15'1 hand Quarter Horse mare with the talent to go all the way to Grand Prix. Lindsey achieved her USDF Gold Medal by the age fifteen on this special mount. "Intrepid", fell into her hands by chance. Lindsey found "Intrepid" in a pasture eight years ago and took him on as a project but he soon became her horse of a lifetime. In 2002 they received the NAYRC individual Bronze Medal, and the team Bronze in 2004. They have regionally competed at the Intermediate I & II levels and are looking forward to this year's "Brentina Cup" experience. They are also competing at the Grand Prix level for the first time together this year! If Lindsey is not riding or training, she can be seen a mom to Ebelyn Reece-O'Keefe, a wife to David O'Keefe, and hanging out at their home with dogs Lou, Maggie, and Harvey.
