um bob marley even said it way before reggae back in the days in jamaica all they would play on the radio was the blues people like fats domino research it on the internet or buy any book on the origins of reggae music, rock music was considered to be invented in the 50s way before the genre of reggae had a name. u could even listen to early recordings or any pioneer of reggae music clear imitation of the blues.
