The urban legend is about Del Close's skull being used in Chicago "Hamlet" productions--That was not true-they tried, and Del did will it, but the medical examier dept./powers that be do not permit that. They don't even let you have any steel pins from operations, nor any part of the body, supervised from burial or cremation. I believed that they had the skull, too, till I found out otherwise. So clip off some hair or fingernails before you get the law involved.

I was too harsh with you. You are, in fact, right. She is arrogant and she is a snob. She's other things too however. She's generous with people, she's kind, she's forgiving, and she tries to do the right thing. Not a bad person in the least. But when it comes to "Show Business" unfortunately she has this superior attitude and always has (though that attitude comes from insecurity, like all snobbishness does) I did know her quite well once-upon-a-time.
